Hello everyone! I'm proud to announce that I am on the kids design team at The Crafters Cafe! Last night was our digi day. Here are the cards I made for the digi day challenges......

The first challenge was a celebration card. I used the Birthday Fairy from The Stamping Boutique.

The second challenge was black,tan,and a color of your choice. I used Medusa from The Stamping Boutique.

The third challenge was a sketch. The image I used is from Pollycraft.

I'm using all three for the kids challenge at The Crafters Cafe. The theme is parties. Any kind of party you like. You may enter as many times as you like.

I also have some blog candy. To win the blog candy you have to leave a comment. I'll choose a winner a week from tomorrow on Monday Sept. 19 after I get home from school. I will use Random.org to choose the winner (with my mom's help).

I decided to make something for Back to School. Here is what I came up with.

Hello! I'm am so excited to share with you that I am this weeks Guest Designer at Michelle Perkett Studio. Yay! I was so happy when my mom got the email asking if I would do it, I couldn't wait to create my project. The theme this week is to use die cuts on your project and here is what I have made...

I took one of those mini composition books and covered it with some of my mom's DP from her stash. I colored the BFF Mermaids from Michelle Perkett and added it to the front. We cut out some flowers using my mom's cricut and I glued them together and added a flower gem to each. I hope you like it.

Hello! I'm so excited to let you all know that I have been selected as one of the agents over on the Messy's Mini Missions blog. I'm so excited to be a part of this team. I hope you'll all go check it out and play along.

Teacher Thank You Cards

A couple of weeks ago I had a request for some thank you cards for a friend who works at a school. She wanted to give them to the other people she worked with and wanted them to have a school theme. Here are the samples I have made for her.

My mom gave me the idea for this first one. The DP is DCWV. I trimmed some filler paper to the size I wanted and taped it on. Then I used this apple die cut my mom had found at the dollar store at the beginning of the school year. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.

I came up with this one. The DP is DCWV again. The strip of paper is just some practice paper we had. The image is from E. Dulemba. I colored the image and wrote the Thank You with colored pencils.

Earth Day Blog Hop

Hi, I'm very excited to be participating in my very first blog hop. I hope you will be inspired by the projects you'll be seeing today. You should have come here from my mom Rhonda's blog, if not please start at the beginning on Michelle's blog. I know you will want to see all the talent and inspiration there is today to Go Green.

For my project I decided to repurpose an empty box left over from when my baby sister got her new hearing aids. My mom didn't want to throw it away and it was just sitting in the closet, so I used it to make a nice box for my treasures.

Here is the box before I redid it.

Here is the top of the box. I used scraps of paper from my mom's stash to make this box. The flowers are some from her stash also and weren't being used. She helped me write my name with glitter.

Here's the front of the box. The ribbon is some I got on clearance at a local store. The lace was a find at the DI.
